Representing President of the Republic, Abdelmadjid Tebboune, Minister of Foreign Affairs and National Community Abroad, Ahmed Attaf, will partake on Monday in the Second Arab-Islamic Summit, which will be held in the capital of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Riyadh.
The convening of this joint summit between the League of Arab States and the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) aims to discuss developments regarding the Palestinian issue and the evolving situation in the Middle East.
The summit will be an opportunity to discuss the means aimed at enhancing Arab and Islamic efforts to meet the current challenges posed by the ongoing Israeli aggression against Gaza and Lebanon, as well as the escalation across the entire region.
Algeria’s participation in this summit reflects its unwavering commitment to supporting the Palestinian cause and its full solidarity with the Lebanese people in their struggle against the barbaric Zionist aggression.
As an Arab member of the UN Security Council, Algeria will strive to contribute to implementing the summit's conclusions, in line with the efforts it has consistently undertaken since joining this key UN body.
